Born in the vibrant land of Brazil, Norman’s journey in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began at the tender age of 5, under the expert guidance of his mentors, Yuri Carlton and Roan Jucão. By the time he turned 8, he had already embarked on his competitive BJJ career, eventually amassing an impressive collection of accolades, including 15 State Championships, a Brazilian National Championship, and the prestigious title of Pan-American Champion.

Meet Coach Yuri, a true Brazilian Jiu Jitsu legend who began his journey in 1995 under the guidance of the esteemed Roan Jucão. Hailing from the vibrant city of Salvador-Bahia, Brazil, Coach Yuri has ascended to the rank of a 5th-degree black belt, a testament to his dedication and expertise in the art of Jiu Jitsu.
